Weeds, Seeds, and Beautiful Things

Telling others about the God I’ve learned to trust.

Hi, I’m Connie!

My name is Connie Lawson. I am the dreamer behind this site. If you want a more detailed overview of who I am, please check out the “About Me” tab, or the “FAQ” page. Here, I am going to share some fun things about myself with you 😃

For example: I LOVE mushrooms (just looking at or drawing the wild ones in nature 🍄). I love rain, cold weather, bright colors, and I am fond, real fond, of opossums. Yep, you saw it right. I am fond of opossums. 😂

I am creative at heart, and I think that comes through in everything I do. I have no desire to follow the crowd or do what others do just because it’s popular, but at the same time, I value being included and need words of affirmation.

I have insomnia, so my self care involves taking as many showers as I want to. I love a good laugh and am known to have some pretty good stand-up comedy about the psych ward. 🤣

I am married, a mom (who is currently pregnant), a sister, a daughter, and a trauma survivor. I have always wanted to be a speaker from childhood on, and I greatly enjoy it every time I get the opportunity. I am a slight procrastinator 😄 and have been known to walk up on stage a teensy bit unprepared but, by the grace of God, He gives me just the right words to say every single time.

Anyway, I am so glad you stopped by and hope you reach out!
